ICE MELT DOWN is a uniquely different, proprietary ice melting compound. It does not contain salts of any kind. Unlike salt products which are mined and refined, Ice Melt Down is an organic compound. It is a pure compound without salt added to reduce price and effectiveness.
ICE MELT DOWN will melt snow/ice below zero degrees Fahrenheit. It is safe and easy to handle without requiring protective clothing. The product can be hand applied and normal washing of the hands is all that is needed.
ICE MELT DOWN is safe to store. All ice melting products have hygrosopic properties (water absorbing) and Ice Melt Down is one of the lowest.
ICE MELT DOWN is an organic compound, and is lighter in weight than the salt products. Use 1/4 - 1/2 cup per square yard. A 15# bag of Ice Melt Down is the volume size of a 25# bag of rock salt.
